XEDE
Engine Management
for the
MazdaSpeed 3
The XEDE
(pronounced "x-ceed") is the only user-programmable engine control
system that works with the factory ECU for great performance and near
perfect driveability. Every one of its functions has the resolution and
flexibility to complement all factory ECU functions. The XEDE carries the tuning torch
without inducing any compromise to performance or safety.
The XEDE is
the most user friendly engine management available! It plugs directly
into the stock ECU and requires no tuning.* The XEDE
comes pre-programmed for your application. The maps and timing
signal are already saved to the XEDE
unit.
How does the XEDE
work?
It is wired into the stock ECU. It
intercepts the incoming signals to the ECU, modifies it, then sends it
out the the ECU. For example, by intercepting the
crank signal, the XEDE can
advance or retard timing. By intercepting the load signal, the XEDE can
make fuel mixtures richer or leaner. It remains under closed loop
during idle, and goes open loop under boost. The
MazdaSpeed 3 also allows the
user to control the Boost, Fuel, Timing, and MAP Sensor.
Installing
the XEDE....
This is probably the easiest aftermarket performance part you will ever
install on your car! Wire the XEDE into the stock ECU. Turn the
key on. Turn the Key
off. Start the engine. Rev the engine, watch the LED light turn green,
and you are ready to drive.
Practical
Information...
What is more practical than get in and drive? Forget tuning the car
every time you drive it or the weather changes. Short of getting
struck by lightening, the XEDE
won't fail. It will be the most reliable piece of hardware on
your car.
TheXEDE
cannot change the rev limiter on any Mazda.
The MazdaSpeed 3 XEDE does not illuminated the check
engine light.

**Right now, the plug 'n play harness is not available for the MS3. We
are have some connectors custom molded. 2/26/8 **
The XEDE Plug N Play harness is not avaialble right now. As
soon the connectors become available, the second harness (plug 'n play)
will be added
on.

Front Mount
Intercooler System the
MazdaSpeed 3
Replace
the
top mount intercooler with the Front Mount intercooler
system. Rated to 350 whp. The system comes complete with intercooler
tubes, hose clamps,
turbo hose, and mounting hardware. The front mount intercooler will
work on all MS3's.
Two options are available for the system
- T-bolt hose clamps or ABA
hose clamps.

Cool Air Box
for
the

The Cool Air System features
a
totally enclosed Air Filter and MAF meter. Protecting it from engine
temperatures. The Cool Air Box mounts in two places. The MAF meter has
a fixed mounting point. The price includes mounting hardware, air
filter, Cool Air Box, and black powdercoating. The Cool Air Box can be
powdercoated in a Chrome / Silver Color, or buffed aluminum. The
airbox is shipped without the BEGi logo, unless otherwise is specified.

Cool Air Box
for
the
MazdaSpeed 3 w/ Amsoil Filter
The
Cool Air System features
a
totally enclosed Air Filter and MAF meter. Protecting it from engine
temperatures. The Cool Air Box mounts in two places. The MAF meter has
a fixed mounting point.
The filter is also the latest technology from Amsoil. They provide
improved cold air intake and a level of engine protection only an Ea
Filter can provide. AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters are made from the
same high-quality nanofiber media found in other AMSOIL Ea Air Filters.
The nanofiber media is pleated with epoxy-coated wire on the face and
back of the media for additional strength and stiffness. High quality,
pliable urethane connectors with plastisol potting complete the

The Forge
Bypass Vavle is a flange mount, Piston Recirculation
Valve. It is a direct stock replacement. It will sound more like a BOV
than a recirculating valve. Available in Black.

The gauge mount can be a permanent or temporary install. It has
