MazdaSpeed Miata Turbo System
The complete system engineered to get more power out of your MSM. This system will replace the stock turbo manifold, some intercooler tubes and the air intake system. The system is designed to work with the BEGi / FM (1st gen.) Intercoolers.  The most complete system available for the MSM today.

This base system has been dyno'd with the Xede to produce:
243 rwhp @ 13 psi
252 rwhp @ 14 psi
the latest run is 253 rwhp @ 13 psi.

Currently, this system will replace the Air Intake, By-Pass Valve,  Mid pipe, Downpipe, and Throttle Inlet Tube already installed. We can configure it to work with a Tial BOV or Greddy BOV.  However, a BOV is not always recommended due to compressor surge.

Xede Engine Management
The XEDE (pronounced "x-eed") is the only user-programmable engine control system that works with the factory ECU for great performance and near perfect driveability. Every one of its functions has the resolution and flexibility to complement all factory ECU functions. The XEDE carries the tuning torch without inducing any compromise to performance or safety.

The MazdaSpeed Miata XEDE will illuminate the check engine light. It changes the stock ECU boost and TPS signal. Please contact us for more information on OBDII inspection.  The MSM XEDE comes with 440 cc Injectors.  The XEDE cannot change the rev limiter on any Miata.  The XEDE Harness also comes wire for dual map switch, wideband O2 sensor integration and boost control.

MazdaSpeed Miata Mid-Pipe
Replacement Mid-pipe for the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata.  This 2.5" Stainless steel mid-pipe bolts up to the existing factory downpipe. Stainless steel tubing and high flow mandrel bent design allow for more efficient air flow. You will notice an increase in boost response and quicker spool-up over the restrictive factory pipe.

MazdaSpeed Miata Intercooler Upgrade
With some minor modifications, this intercooler will directly replace the stock one. This intercooler is 32% larger and has 80% more volume allowing for cooler intake temperatures. In order to make your stock MazdaSpeed Miata more powerful, the intercooler upgrade is a must have.

The core is 3" x 7.5" x 18", and made with aluminum sheet endtanks. The intercooler can be powdercoated, however the shiny aluminum endtanks are beautiful. On the air intake side, and internal baffle is placed to make sure air is even directed across the intercooler core.

The intercooler comes with black turbo hose, mounting fasteners and hose clamps for easy installation. Recent revisions to the intercooler make it easier to install around the power steering cooler.

The only MSM Intercooler to include an Air Inlet Baffle (for better air distribution) and Power Steering Spacers for easier installtion!

MazdaSpeed Miata Cool Air Intake Kit
Replace the restrictive air intake on the MSM with the Cool Air Intake. The Cool Air Box isolates the air filter from the hot underhood temperatures to stay with six degrees of ambient.  It will not pick up exhaust manifold heat that other Intake systems do. Exhaust heat will create denser air resulting in power loss and one step closer to detonation. The upgrade comes with the Cool Air Box, K & N Air Filter, Compressor Inlet Tube, two Compressor Outlet tubes, black turbo hose and t-bolt hose clamps.

BEGi MazdaSpeed Miata Ultimate Intake Kit
Incldes the BEGi Cool Air Intake, Forge Bypass Valve, and Throttle Inlet Tube. MazdaSpeed Miata Throttle Inlet Tube
The stock Throttle Inlet Tube balloons under boost and have been know to crack. The BEGi Throttle Inlet Tube directly replaces the stock tube. We also have two other versions available. The second tube will fit the larger Forge and Vishnu By-pass valves, with a 1" connection. The third tube is for use with the FM GFB Valve. All Throttle Inlet Tubes come with t-bolt hose clamps and black turbo hose.  The latest revision moved the air temp sensor bung to the driver side to avoid crimping the wire.

Forge Bypass Valve
The Forge Bypass Valve is a direct stock replacement. It is a Piston Recirculating Valve. It will sound more like a BOV than a recirculating valve. Available in Black.

Boost Gauge
The BEGi boost gauge is 20 psi and 30 in vac. with a black face.  It is 2" round and fits perfectly with BEGi gauge mounts.

MSM Gauge Mounts
The gauge mounts mount on the driver's side a-pillar. They are black with a matte finish, and will fit a 2" gauge. We have single and dual mounts. Each gauge mount comes with the mounting hardware. These gauge pods are for left side drive cars only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do some of the turbo systems not have fuel or engine management?
A: Lots of customers have a favorite engine management system they want to use.  BEGi will not lock you into using our system. Some people prefer stand alone ECU's some need a simple solution.

Q: Why is the Xede Engine Management highly recommended for the 1999 and up Miatas?
A: The only way to change the ignition timing in the NB Miata is to install a new wheel and have it retard ignition timing all the time. So far, there is not a Bipes ACU for the 1999+ cars. This is not a good solution as the car does not drive well and will loose power and turbo spool.

The Xede is the electronic solution that will add or retard ignition timing to an accuracy of 0.10 degrees.

Q: Does BEGi give a discount if the Xede is purchased with the turbo?
A: Yes. If you purchase the fuel or engine management system together, BEGI will give a 10% discount off of the cost of the turbo system and fueling system.



The Turbo is  a Garrett T25 ball bearing, T28 ball bearing, or a T3. Oil and water cooled.

The Manifold is cast in ductile iron. The design is the most efficient and reliable one available or proposed with spacious wrench clearances and careful control of thermal expansion.

The Air Scooper directs air flow directly into the radiator, bypassing the intercooler. Overheating problems, due to cooling air blockage created by the intercooler, are greatly reduced and often eliminated with the Air Scooper.  We have a version for the Miata with the R package as well. It bolts directly to the intercooler.

The Radiator Cover aids the Air Scooper in air flow. It keeps the cooler air from escaping over the top of the radiator.

The Intercooler has been revised to a 'long' tube design. (the previous version was a short tube). The core itself is aluminum, bar and plate style. (Not an e-bay or China special!) The endtanks are wrought aluminum, and the  intercooler mounts directly to the frame. Why did we go to the long tube design? It removes more heat, with minimal drag. It does produce slightly more drag than the short tube design, but the slight additional drag is clearly offset by the enormous increase in effectiveness.

The Cool Air Box totally isolates the air filter from under hood heat. It aids in providing cooler air to the turbo, so the increase of temperatures when under boost are even less.

What is this distribution block? It's the new simple, convenient, durable, and  central "port" for all oil and water supply lines to the turbo. The turbo oil and water supply lines have all been upgraded to stainless steel braided lines for added durability.
